William Thomas Borne

William Thomas Borne, age 74, of Brookville died Thursday evening, July 4, 2024 at Reid Health in Richmond following a lengthy illness.

Born July 27, 1949 in Brookville, he was the son of the late William F. and Martha (Klemme) Borne.  He was a graduate of the former Brookville High School, and a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army; having earned the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart.

He and the former Carol Brack were united in marriage in 1970, and she survives.

Besides Carol, his wife of over 54 years, survivors include two sons, Jeff Borne of Brookville and Bill Borne of West College Corner; two grandchildren, Jonathon Borne and Paris Borne; a great-grandchild, Myra Borne.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Ann Borne who died January 14, 2022.

Private services will be conducted.
