Dale E. Beck, 67, of Franklin County, passed away Thursday morning, July 11, 2024 at Margaret Mary Health in Batesville.
He was born February 8, 1957 in Wayne County, one of five children of Clinton and Joan Railsback Beck. That same year, he moved with his family to a farm in Franklin County and lived there all his life.
A 1975 graduate of Laurel High School, he was a lifelong livestock and grain farmer and truly enjoyed the farming life. He got a thrill from finding arrowheads during farm operations.
Dale was an exceptionally friendly soul and was liked by everyone he met. Much loved by his family, he will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include a brother, Loren Beck and wife Carol of Greensburg; a sister, Myrna Allen and husband Dale of Laurel; four nephews; Aaron, Jason and Clint Beck and Charlie Greggerson; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Marlene Greggerson; and a brother, Floyd Beck.
Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Mike Hedrick at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2024 in Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home, where friends may call from 11 a.m.until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Elkhorn Cemetery in Wayne County.
