Introducing Batesville's New Fire Chief: Brian Hardebeck

Batesville, Indiana: The City of Batesville is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Hardebeck as the new Chief of Batesville Fire and Rescue.

With a long-standing respected career in firefighting and emergency response, Brian brings

innovation, energy, and leadership to this critical role.

Mayor John Irrgang remarked, "I am happy to welcome Brian Hardebeck as our new Fire Chief.

I have every confidence that he will lead our Fire Department with distinction and serve the city of Batesville honorably.”

We also would like to extend our thanks to Todd Schutte for his years of service to the city of

Batesville and wish him the very best as he embarks on his retirement.
