Jamie Jean-Marie Pavey, 38 of Rushville, passed away March 2, 2024 in Rushville. She was born May 20, 1985 in Batesville, to James E. and Annette (Crawley) Hunter. Jamie was a 2003 graduate of Franklin County High School. She married Keith Pavey on May 17, 2014 and he survives. Jamie was a member of Buena Southern Missionary Baptist Church and St. Mary Catholic Church.
Jamie worked at Gecom and recently started working from home for Pavey’s Grocery Store. She enjoyed volunteering at St. Mary Catholic School throughout the school year. Jamie was a devoted wife, mother and daughter to her family. She truly loved being a boy mom. Jamie enjoyed baking and photography.
In addition to her loving husband, Keith, she is survived by her parents, James E. (Annette Crawley) Hunter; sons, Keegan Pavey, Wyatt Pavey and Dominic Pavey; brother, Tristan James (Erica) Hunter of Franklin County and brother-in-law, Jason (Jamey) Pavey of Rush County; sister, Shaylee Rae Hunter of Franklin County and sisters-in-law, April (Chad) Bills of Noblesville and Tracie (Brian) Simolon of CA. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 10 a.m. in Moster Mortuary, with Brother Rob Edwards presiding. Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 by Father Dustin Boehm with visitation in the mortuary till 8 p.m. Burial will be held in Hopewell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a trust will be set up at a later date for the boys’ college education.
