Daniela Blanco, Sunman, has been selected at the 2024 Hispanic Community Advisory Committee (HCAC) Scholarship winner.  Blanco, a 2024 Batesville graduate, will continue her studies at Xavier University and study nursing.  In the application, Batesville teacher Katy Tincher wrote, “What sets Daniela apart is her exceptional ability to balance academic excellence with active participation in extracurricular activities and working two jobs.”

The HCAC Selection Committee credited Blanco for her accomplishments while at student at Batesville High School such as National Honor Society Spanish Club, and numerous volunteer and community service efforts. Students from Batesville, Oldenburg Academy, Milan, and East Central applied as well.
