Cody J. Trammell

Cody Joseph Trammell, age 32, of Brookville, died Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis, with his mother, and brothers Jeremy andChris by his side, following a brief illness.

Born September 12, 1991 in Oxford, Ohio, he was one of four children born to Thomas & Julie (Hoog) Trammell.  He lived all of his life in Franklin County and had been employed in construction.  

In his leisure time he enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting, spending time with his children, family and friends.

Survivors include three children, Camden Trammell, Luke Trammell, Adalynn  Trammell, or as Cody affectionately called them, Cam Man, Lukey and Squeaker, all of Brookville; his mother, Julie Trammell of Brookville; three brothers, Josh Trammell, Jeremy (Mariah) Trammell, Chris (Lori) Trammell, all of Brookville; his maternal grandmother, Glenna Hoog of St. Peters.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Trammell who died 2/23/2019; his maternal grandfather, Ronald Hoog; his paternal grandparents, Stanley & Tressie Trammell; as well as a niece Bailey Lynn.

Family and friends visited Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Steve Rundel officiated the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home; burial will then follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
