The gates of Heaven opened wide and an amazing woman was welcomed home into the loving arms of her Heavenly Father. On May 11, 2024, Donna Pohlar passed away surrounded by family at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio at the age of 71. Donna was born August 21, 1952 to Betty and Lawrence Rosenberger.

She was united in marriage to Keith Pohlar on May 29, 1971. They shared just shy of 53 years together. They were blessed with two daughters.

Donna was a wife, mother, mamaw, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She worked at College Corner Presbyterian Church for many years. She also worked at the Union County Library and was an active member of the Union County Cancer Association.

Donna loved to sew. It was her therapy when she became sick. She loved her community and helped out whenever she could. She loved her bible study group and leaned on her faith daily. Her joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren, and most of all her great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Keith, her love and memories will forever be cherished by her daughters, Jenny (Jason) Dunning and Joanna (Chad) Davis; her grandchildren, Shyanne, Sydney and Noah Bradford, Kelsey Pitcher, Jaden Davis, and Lexy (Austin) Killion. She will be greatly missed by her great-grandchildren – Kilo Bradford, Everly and Enzley and Mack Killion, and Jace and Carter Plough. She will be missed by her brothers and sisters, Mike (Maggie) Rosenberger, Mark (Jeanette) Rosenberger, Steve (Mary Beth) Rosenberger, Chris (Linda) Rosenberger, Greg (Marsha) Rosenberger, Becky (Tom) Pfledderer, Kathy Rosenberger, and Cheryl Dishmond, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Squeak Rusell; brother, Larry; sister, Mary Ann. She is also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Brianne Davis and a nephew, Brian Pohlar.

Private services for Donna will be held at the convenience of the family.
