Marilyn Schmid Anderson, age 82, of Brookville died early Monday morning May 13, 2024 at her residence in Brookville.  

Born January 30, 1942 in Boston, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha (Hacker) Schmid.  She lived most of her life in Franklin County.

She was a member of the Brookville Road Baptist Church.  In her leisure time she enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and gardening, but most of all she loved taking care of her boys.

Survivors include three sons, Rick (Char) Robertson of Milan, Rodger (Charlotte) Robertson of Brookville and Brad (Becki) Noble of Brookville; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; as well as seven siblings, Barbara Nichols of Reily, Ohio, Jim Schmid of Florida, Shirley Marr of Florida, Wanda Monroe and Frannie Watson both of Brookville, Vickie Schmid of West College Corner, and Kathy Schmid of Greensburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Claudia Schmid and Carol M. Roemer; two brothers, Richard Schmid and Mike Schmid.

Family and friends may visit from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Roy VanWinkle of Brookville Road Baptist Church will officiate the funeral service at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, with burial following in Reily Cemetery in Reily, Ohio.
