Gary L. Maddock

Gary L. Maddock, age 76, of Eaton, Ohio and formerly of Oak Park, Illinois died Tuesday evening May 14, 2024 at the Knolls of Oxford in Oxford, Ohio.

Born December 8, 1947 in Oxford, Ohio, he was the son of Russell E. and Eunice Irene (Sayers) Maddock.  

Gary was retired, having worked for many years in Chicago as a paralegal.  In his leisure time he enjoyed traveling, the outdoors, and walking.    

Survivors include his mother, Eunice Maddock of Oxford, Ohio; a sister, Cheryl (Mike) Campbell of Eaton, Ohio; four brothers, Steve (Kay) Maddock of Bath, Rick (Shannon) Maddock of College Corner, Ohio, Barry (Kathy) Maddock of Eaton, Ohio and Chris (Lisa) Maddock of Liberty; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell E. Maddock, his paternal grandparents, Robert andKathleen Maddock, as well as his maternal grandparents, Perry and Ethel Sayers, and step-grandmother, Mae E. Sayers.

Rev. Roy VanWinkle officiated the graveside Service at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 18, 2024 at College Corner Cemetery, Brookville Pike, West College Corner.
