Ansel Ralph Bush

Ansel Ralph Bush, age 79, of Brookville, died Monday, May 20, 2024 at Majestic Care in Connersville following a lengthy illness.  

Born November 29, 1944 in St. Charles Virginia, he was the son of the late Thomas and Elsie (Collins) Bush.   He was united in marriage to Rosetta (Bowman) Bush on December 27, 1966, and she survives.

He retired from Lincoln Electric where he had been employed for over 38 years as an inspector.  

In his leisure time he enjoyed woodworking, pitching horseshoes, and shooting pool.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brookville.

Besides Rosetta, his loving wife of over 57 years, survivors include a daughter, April Bush of Brookville, a granddaughter, Chessie Dwenger of Brookville; a sister, Brenda Noe of Wickliffe, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Wanda (Livingston) Bush of Pensacola.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lena Sutton and Faye Rowe; two brothers, James Thomas Bush Jr. and Earl Eugene Bush; as well as his son, Darrell Bush who died August 10, 2012.

Pastor Mike Holman, of First Baptist Church of Brookville, officiated the Graveside service at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 24, 2024 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
