Jayn Lynette Laws, age 63, of Brownsville, died unexpectedly Tuesday May 21, 2024 at her residence in Brownsville, after suffering a heart attack.  

Born February 13, 1961 in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Norma Joan (Ferguson) Spencer.  On November 30, 1991 she was united in marriage to Thomas Laws, and he survives.

She was a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie.

She was currently employed at Stant Manufacturing in Connersville, and had previously been employed as a nurse at Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville.  In her leisure time she enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and taking care of her dogs.

She is survived by Tom, her loving husband of nearly 33 years; as well as several cousins and many friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Springersville Cemetery.
