Michael Leroy Kramer, age 81, of Brookville died early Monday morning November 4, 2024, at his residence in Brookville.
Born December 5, 1942, in Connersville, he was the son of the late Robert Leroy Kramer and Ruth M. (Slagle) Kramer. He was united in marriage to the former Patricia Ann Helms, and she preceded him in death on July 28, 2005. He and the former Gloria Hawkins Davidson were united in marriage on August 17, 2006, and she survives.
Mike worked for many years at Roots Blower in Connersville as a machinist before his retirement in 2004. He was a member of Grace Community Church in Connersville. In his leisure time, Mike enjoyed mowing grass and spending time with his family.
Besides Gloria, his wife of over 18 years, survivors include two daughters, Sherri (Pete) Schomber and Julie (Kevin) Hunter, all of Brookville; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three stepchildren, Gary Davidson, Ruth Rowlett, and Bill Davidson, all of Brookville; nine step grandchildren; and 17 step great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, and first wife Pat, he was preceded in death by a sister, Patrica E. Thompson, who died July 7, 2014.
Family and friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until noon on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Pastor Ellis McQueen will officiate the funeral service conducted at noon, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sims Cemetery in New Fairfield.
