March 18, 1956 – November 10, 2024

Mark H. Stipp, age 68, of Liberty, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday evening, November 10, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born March 18, 1956 in Portland, Indiana to William Harlan Stipp and Betty Joan Wall.

Mark attended Winchester Community High School. He was a retired member of the Indiana Carpenters Union Local 1016.

On August 18, 1985, he married the love of his life, Brenda Harman. They spent 39 years married and 41 years together. I got you Babe.

Mark enjoyed classic car restoration, classic rock and roll, and building anything requiring “hands on.” He cherished every minute spent with family, especially the apple of his eye, his grandson Lincoln Everett Stipp. His wit, humor, and ability to make anyone feel welcome was his special gift.

Mark leaves behind three children, Joshua L. Stipp (Batavia, Ohio), Sarah G. Stipp (Liberty), and Ethan E. Stipp (wife Felicia), and grandson Lincoln Stipp. He also leaves behind sisters Deborah Betz (Chuck), Carolyn Briggs, and brother, Tim Stipp (Wilma), sister-in-law Deborah Holt (Tim), and several nieces and nephews, and more friends than he will ever know.

He was preceded in death by his father William L. Stipp, mother Betty J. Stipp, brother Doug L. Stipp, Father-in-law Richard E. Harman and mother-in-law, Geneva Harman, and brother-in-law Michael D. Harman.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Mark to the Union County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 294, Liberty, IN 47353.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
