La Calaca finally opened their doors on Monday, Sept. 2 and the reviews are in! 

This new Mexican restaurant has spent months building up anticipation in the community and given the crowd outside on Monday, it was a hit! They have opened the inside seating, added four large screen TVs, and really went all out with their incredible and bright decor! 

Some of their specialty dishes include Discada and Trompo Al Pastor! Ready for those sweet treats? Check out their Churros Car and the Chimi-Cheesecake! 

Manager Jose Vasquez speaks about a possible 2-week wait before the liquor license arrives, and in the meantime, they will be adding the newest wallpaper! 

“The bar is almost finished, and soon, we will have the walls finished. It’s just a matter of time. We are happy to be open and serving the public. Monday’s crowd was great!” 

La Calaca is located at 559 Main Street in Brookville.  

Their hours are: 

Monday-Thursday: 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. 

Friday-Saturday: 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

Sunday: 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
