LouAnn Day, age 75, of Cedar Grove passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 13, 2024 at her residence in Cedar Grove, following a lengthy illness.
Born December 14, 1948, in Corpus Christi, Texas, she was the daughter of the late Pittsford and Beatrice Vest. On May 11, 1966 she was united in marriage to Delbert L. Day, and he survives.
She had worked at Whitewater Processing in Harrison. She cherished time spent with her family, enjoyed going to church, and also enjoyed attending yard sales.
She was a member of the Scipio United Baptist Church.
Besides Delbert, her loving husband of over 58 years, survivors include three children, Renee Day of Brookville; Darin L. (Patsy) Day, and David Brian (Denise) Day all of West Harrison; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; as well as six siblings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers and sisters and a granddaughter, Jaiden.
Family and friends visited on Monday, September 16, 2024, at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
David Smith officiated the funeral service on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, 10:00 A.M., at Scipio United Baptist Church, 7999 Cincinnati Brookville Road, Okeana, Ohio, 45053. Burial followed in Scipio Union Cemetery in Okeana.
