Peggy Lee Quante

Peggy Lee Quante, age 80, of Connersville died Thursday, September 12, 2024 peacefully surrounded by her family.

Born August 12, 1944 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was one of seven children born to the late Vernon and Eula Maye (Benge) Price.  On October 24, 1964 she became the wife of Paul Quante, and he survives.

A homemaker, Peggy enjoyed needlepoint, quilting, and crocheting.  

Besides Paul, her loving husband of nearly 60 years, survivors include two sons, Barry Quante and Tim Quante both of Connersville; four grandchildren, John Quante, Reva Garrison, Melody Quante, and William Hillyer; two great-grandchildren, Winter Toth and Cincy Toth; three sisters, Joyce Ann Cox of Brookville, Janet M. Duncan of Erlanger, Kentucky, Deborah Lynn Price of Brookville; a brother, James Clinton Price of Powell, Tennessee; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Michelle Lynn Quante; a sister, Geneva Walker and a brother Charles Douglas Price.

Eric Hopkins will officiate the private family service with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville.
