David R. Mannie

David R. Mannie, age 82, of Brookville, passed Saturday evening, December 21, 2024 at the Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville.

Born December 16, 1942 in Connersville, he was the son of the late Louis J. and Cecilia A. (Beyer) Mannie.  He remained a lifelong resident of Franklin County, and had worked at Pepsi, the former J & J Packaging, and Whitewater Processing.

He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church; the Fraternal Order of Eagles #1129 of Brookville, as well as the Order of Red Men #220 of Brookville.  In his leisure time he enjoyed Cincinnati Reds baseball.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Mannie Jr, sisters  Gladys May Adams, Merceda Mannie, Joann Manie.

Family & friends visited Monday, December 30, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.

Rev. Vincent Lampert officiated the Catholic Funeral Rite on Monday, December 30, 2024, 11:00 a.m. at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.  Burial took place at St. Michael Cemetery in Brookville.
