Curtis D. Potters, Jr.

Curtis D. Potters, Jr. 46, passed away December 27, 2024 surrounded by his family at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, after a brief courageous battle with a rare autoimmune-lung disease.
Born to Curtis D. Potters, Sr. and Anna “Tina” Limburg Stuart. He lived the majority of his life in Connersville and Fayette County (attending Connersville HS) and Lebanon, Ky.
On January 13th, 2006, he married Jill Thomas in Lebanon. Together they shared many happy years raising a blended family of their children.
Curtis loved everything with his family. His favorite activities were: cooking/smoking/BBQ for everyone, playing games with his children and grandchildren, watching IU basketball and football, Marvel movies (especially “Deadpool”) and tending a garden. He also relished making his family and friends laugh with his wit and keenness for dark humor.
Always upbeat, Curtis enjoyed interacting with his many customers and colleagues as a manager for 10-1/2 years with Herdrich Petroleum at multiple businesses: Liberty (Country Mark), Rushville, Richmond and New Castle. He strived to ensure his customers were greeted with a smile and good service.
Curtis will be sadly missed by his wife, Jill; daughter, Samantha Jo (Justin) Potters - Ft. Wayne; son, Elijah Potters - Connersville; stepdaughter, Jessica (Gretchen) Henderson - Lebanon; stepson, Dalton (Michael) Henderson - Salt Lake City; brother, Jeremy (Heather) Potters - Connersville and grandchildren, Ronan Potters and Niko Henderson along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Curtis was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; uncle, Dale Limburg; aunt, Christina McGeorge and a cousin, Jason “Jake” Limburg.
A celebration of life is tentatively scheduled for May 3rd, 2025. Miller, Moster, Robbins is honored to serve Mr. Potters’ family and have been entrusted with the arrangements.
