Marilyn L. Robertson, age 65, of Centerville, died Monday, December 30, 2024, at home.

Born March 14, 1959, in Barstow, California, to Charles “Ed” and Helen Virginia Davis Burch, Marilyn had lived in this area most of her life. She was a graduate of Union County High School and Richmond Business College. She was a regional manager for Shell for many years, and for the last 21 years was a business partner with her husband, Wade. Marilyn was a true partner, involved in all aspects of the business, from bookkeeping to painting. She loved to travel, especially to the beach; she and Wade were proud to be snowbirds. Marilyn enjoyed flowers, had a green thumb, and loved spending time outdoors. She especially loved being with her family and being with her grandkids. She was baptized as a teen, and recently attended Life Spring Church North. 

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Wade Robertson, to whom she was married November 22, 2002; mother, Helen Burch; children, Monica (Steve Mayer) Schlichter, Holly (Justin Rich) O’Neil, Kyle (Brittany) Johnson, Jeremy (Ghea Chamberlain) Robertson, Ryan (Angela) Robertson; grandchildren, Lauren Schlichter, Gavin Schlichter, Caden O’Neil, Brooklyn O’Neil, Kylie Johnson, Jameson Johnson, Waylon Johnson, Charlee Johnson, Andrew Robertson, Paisley Robertson, Chloe Robertson, and Clayton Robertson; siblings, Jim Burch, Jenny (Mike) Peters, Robin Burch, and Cindy (Craig) Pruitt; mother-in-law, Anna Robertson; sister-in-law, Cathy (Jeff) Bane; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Lynne) Robertson and John (Laura) Robertson; nieces; nephews; cousins; special friends, Donna, Sheila, Jennifer, Barb, and Tina; and her Florida family at Rice Creek RV Resort. 

She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Phyllis Moore; and father-in-law, Roy Robertson.

Marilyn’s family would like to give special thanks to the Reid Oncology team for the excellent care she was given.

Visitation for Marilyn L. Robertson was Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville. Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 3, 2025, at Mills Funeral Home. Burial followed in West Grove Cemetery.
