Indoor track qualifying continues

The Whiteland indoor track and field state qualifier took place on Friday in Indianapolis. Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference teams that participated in the meet were East Central, Batesville and Franklin County.

Hodapp named to All-Star roster

Franklin County senior Bryce Hodapp has become the 11th Wildcat football player to be named to Indiana's North-South All-Star competition, taking his place on the South roster.

Council discusses current projects, pending inquiries

The Brookville Town Council met March 2nd to discuss and review all current projects, pending inquiries, and updates on various new items around Franklin County. Attending were Bridget Hayes, Earl Moore, Chuck Campbell, Curtis Ward, and John Estridge (in replacement of Brooke Leffingwell).

Indiana AG Rokita files Lawsuits Against TikTok, asks Hoosiers to delete app

In December of 2022, Indiana Attorney General Todd Rokita filed two separate lawsuits against the social media company TikTok, accusing the company of making false claims about the safety of user data, and age-appropriate content.

Franklin County Commissioners move forward on pending projects

Much was covered at the previous Franklin County commissioners’ meeting. Tom Wilson was absent, but all other board members were in attendance. This meeting brought several updates and concerns that needed addressed, as well as projects moving forward and those that need attention for progress.
