The College Corner Volunteer Fire Department recently paid a visit to two of their department veterans, Gilbert Hill and John Johnston, both of whom now reside at the Woodland County Manor outside of Oxford. Chief Donnie Jackson decided to take the trucks and go pay the former firefighters a visit.

Man stabbed in Franklin County - Suspect in custody

On Sunday, Nov. 20 at about 5:30 p.m., Franklin County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the 19000 block of Stacy Road in Metamora Township, to the report of a stabbing.
