Lady Patriots basketball– Seniors lead team into sectional
Union County handed Knightstown a 47-27 Tri-Eastern Conference setback last week at Roy E. Stevens Gymnasium. The Lady Panthers fell to 2-19 on the season and 0-3 in the TEC. Union County stands 8-7 overall and a 2-4 TEC mark.

Heading into Tuesday's regular season finale and senior night against South Dearborn, the Franklin County Lady Wildcats moved their record to 10-12 by finishing off Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference rival Connersville at home Jan. 18 by 20 before getting bullied at EIAC foe East Central Thursday by 35 points.

The Batesville Bulldogs encountered a squad with a ton of momentum Friday as they visited neighboring Franklin County for an Eastern Indiana Athletic Conference battle. Fortunately, from an FC perspective, Uncle Mo resided with the Wildcats again in a 46-29 contest.
