UCHS Freshmen sign-up to Commit to Graduation

One of the first meetings of the UCHS Class of 2026 was held last week with an American manufacturer of memorabilia – known in high school and college.
Jostens is an American manufacturer of memorabilia. The company is primarily known for its production of yearbooks and class rings for various high schools and colleges and has served Union County High School for several years.
Jeff Pope and Jason Pope shed light on being freshmen and achieving a common goal – graduation.
“You have already accomplished much to be here today,” Jeff Pope said. “Your freshmen year is most important in your life and leads to receiving a Union County High School diploma at the end of your senior year.
“You will find that your freshmen through senior years will dictate your Line of Life and benefit you throughout your life.”
Pope brought to light the importance of each students maintaining a good Grade Point Average (GPA), attendance record, school spirit, etc.
Jason Pope brought forward a huge banner in red, white and blue colors, honoring the UCHS Class of 2026 Commitment to Graduate. Row after row of freshmen came forward to write their names all over it. According to UCHS principal Warren Cook, the banner will be hung in the main hallway for all to see.
