Barbara Sue Harrison, age 87, formerly of Liberty, passed away on August 12, 2022 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She was born on March 11, 1935 in Greeneville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Lacy Martin and Georgia Lee West Harrison.
Barbara was a devoted member of the Liberty Church of Christ. She traveled to Toronto in 1958 with Pastor Gene Dulin and his family to establish a Church of Christ there. She fell in love with the city and the people and decided to make Toronto her home. She was very devoted to the church and worked as the administrative assistant for the church.
Her memories will live on in the hearts of her brother, Jim (Robyn) Harrison of New Paris, Ohio; her sister Marilyn Karas of Richmond and her niece and several nephews.
Keeping with the wishes of Barbara, cremation was chosen. The family will conduct a graveside service at a later date.
