Ronald C. Wilson

Ronald C. Wilson, 71 of Liberty passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 after a brief illness. He was born on October 8, 1951 to the late Clyde and Margot Haller Wilson in Boblingen, Germany.
Ron graduated in 1970 from Fairfield High School in Fairfield, Ohio. He then served in the United States Air Force from 1970 to 1978, becoming a technical sergeant and working as a military police officer. Ron was a talented artist and framer and spent several years traveling and selling his art work. He worked for many years as a child case manager for Franklin and Fayette counties before earning a master's degree in mental health counseling and working as a therapist at New Castle Correctional. He was currently working at Meridian Health Services as a clinical supervisor and therapist seeing patients every day.
On July 22, 1972 Ronald married the love of his life Cindi Reynolds Wilson in Fairfield Ohio. Ron and Cindi just celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary but, they have been “going together” for 57 years. They were blessed with two daughters.
Ron was a faithful servant of the Lord and an active member of the River of Life Church in Liberty where he enjoyed music ministry and leading people to Jesus. He was the Best Poppie in the world and his three grandchildren adored him. He was the greatest cheerleader and never missed any event. He was a loving grandfather and set a wonderful example of how to be a good human. He was a valued friend and loved playing music and watching sports. He was also an avid Facebooker who posted his culinary specialties daily.
He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife of 51 years, Cindi, his daughters Kelly (David) Beall, and Laurie Wilson (Charles Oliver); his brothers, Roger Wilson, and Michael Wilson.
His memory will be cherished forever by his grandchildren; Justin (Abby Kidd) Witter, Jack Witter, and Miah France.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends and family gathered on August 04, 2023 at Urban Winkler Liberty Funeral Home located at 310 N. Main Street, Liberty. A memorial service for Ronald began at 6:00 p.m.
