Local Business Spotlight: Fishmoon Brewery

December 12, 2023 at 3:03 p.m.

This week in Rushville, the place to be is Fish Moon Brewing Company. Aside from being a personal favorite among the staff here at the newspaper, the establishment more simply and affectionately referred to as 'Fish Moon' has been committed to serving unique craft beers and good quality meals since its opening in 2019.

Fish Moon Brewing Company began humbly, in the home of owner Thomas Tetrault. Tetrault began brewing his own beers as a hobby to share with friends and family, even creating special brews to celebrate his children's birthdays for the adults to enjoy during the festivities. With plenty of encouragement to begin selling his beer, Tetrault set out to create something new.

One of the most popular aspects of Fish Moon is that many of the brews and creations brought to life by Tetrault are completely unique to Rushville - simply put, you can't get this sort of thing anywhere else! The signature Fish Moon IPA, described as 'easy-drinking', is one of the brewery's specialty creations, made to be an introduction to the craft beer experience.

In addition to the fine selection of craft brews, a wide selection of delicious meals are available to pair with your drink of choice. From burgers, sandwiches, subs, and salads to a tantalizing variety of appetizers and finger foods, there is always something for everyone to enjoy at Fish Moon Brewing Company.

The next time you and yours are looking for a good meal and good fun in a family-friendly brewery, remember the iconic Fish Moon Brewing Company, located only at 309 N Main St. in Rushville.
