The Union County girls golf team finished the Connersville High School Girls Golf Invite with 403 to place fifth out of 11 teams.

“We did not post good scores today,” UC coach Ryleigh Kennedy said. “But beat our sectional teams.” 

But two days later on their home course, the Lady Pats improved their scores to beat Milan, 187-248. Peityn Gillman was medalist at 40.

Batesville won the Connersville Invitational with 327. Low medalists were Rowan Pies (EC) 73, Caroline Whallon (No) 76, Emma Weiler (Ba) 77. 

The Lady Patriots get back into Tri-Eastern Conference matches at Winchester Thursday, Aug. 25 (today).

Lady Pats fall to Red Devils 174-186 at Liberty Country Club
The Richmond Lady Red Devils posted a 174-186 win over Union County’s Lady Patriots on Aug. 18, at Liberty Country Club. 
Lady Red Devil Zoe Brock  and UC’s Gillman both finished with 40 to share   medalist honors. Richmond’s Lauren Freeman was one stroke back at 41.
The Lady Pats are 2-0 in the TEC and 4-1 overall.
