The Adopt-a-Dog event is back
August 31, 2022 at 6:49 p.m.
Last year the Union County Animal Shelter held a weekend Adopt-a-Dog event in hopes of clearing the animal shelter and finding the homes the dogs deserve. The event was successful, and every dog was adopted.
So, the shelter is back at it this year and is holding the Adopt-a-Dog event beginning on Wednesday, Sept. 14, and ending on Friday, Sept. 17. Volunteers will camp at the shelter, so those interested in adoption have plenty of time to visit and adopt these precious dogs.
The shelter has eight dogs currently available for adoption and hopes to have them all adopted by loving families by the end of the weekend. The shelter is located at 3546 E Mitchell Rd, Liberty. For additional information, call the shelter at (765) 969-4782.
