Julian "Jay" Shaw, 47, of Liberty died Friday, November 25, 2022 with the love of his life by his side.
Jay was born in Buffalo to George and Marjorie Gisman Shaw on August 3, 1975. He graduated high school in Buffalo where he lived prior to meeting his true love, Dollie Steele. Together, he and Dollie moved to Liberty in 2018. Jay was adventurous, from taking long drives in the country to hunting ghosts in abandoned places. He was an artist, creating many drawings and paintings for his family and friends to enjoy. Jay loved spending time with his family, friends, and beloved dog, Diva. He will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.
In addition to Dollie, Jay is survived by his mother: Marjorie; brothers: Kenneth Shaw and Andrew Shaw; sisters: Janet Rodems, Marjorie Shaw, Carol Czerniejewski; several nieces, nephews, many friends and his canine companion: Diva.
Jay is preceded in death by his father: George; brothers: George Shaw, Melvin Shaw.
At Jay's request, no services will be conducted at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Humane Society in his honor.
Showalter Blackwell Long, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty has been entrusted with arrangements.
