Just what we needed, a beautiful evening of winter music at UCHS

The Union County Winter Concert put the season into full gear last week courtesy of the Patriot Concert Choir, Patriot Singers and conductor Debra Allbright.
The Patriot Concert Choir began with seasonal and Christmas numbers that included solos, light-hearted merriment and sparkles in their eyes. Choir selections included:
•Little Drummer Boy/Let There Be Peace on Earth.
•Where Are You Christmas with soloist Sierra Vance.
•Deck the Rooftop - Soloists JR Zwierlein, Ash Hann, Serenity Lowe, Chloe Durham, Lily Hertel, Hyden Boatright.
•Mary Did You Know.
•Baby, It’s Cold Outside.
The Patriot Singers moved into the spotlight with:
•Holy Night/Silent Night.
•We Wish You the Merriest.
•Do You Hear What I Hear?
•God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen.
•The Christmas Song.
•Carol of the Bells
The vocalists then enlisted the audience to assist them in the final singing of Carol of the Bells.
It was a beautiful evening!
