Wanda Marie St. John, 73, a longtime Rush County resident, passed away December 19, 2022 in Shelbyville. She was born May 3, 1949 in Rushville to Robert and Betty St. John. Her parents precede her in death.
Wanda was a homemaker; took care of various children throughout the years; sold Avon; and cared for both of her parents until their deaths. She enjoyed reading, her puzzle books, Hallmark movies, and spending time with her family. She always finished her calls and visits with a “love ya.” She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her six siblings, Vicki Divan of St. Marys, Georgia, Elizabeth (Dave) Lay of Connersville, Russell (Lisa) St. John of Hebron, Ohio, Jeffrey (Jane) St. John of Manilla, Rick (Acacia) St. John of Liberty, and Scott (Billie) St. John of Shelbyville; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 1 p.m. in Moster Mortuary with Pastor Theron St. John will preside. Friends are welcome to visit the family from noon until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Laurel North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
