Winners announced for the FCN Bank Holiday Decorating Contest

By Cassie Garrett-

The FCN Bank begins celebrating the holidays on Dec. 1 with a unique decorating contest between all the FCN branches.

Each branch of FCN Bank selects a theme for the decorating contest and then goes to work to bring the theme alive for their customers when they enter their bank.

Last year the Brookville Main Branch won the grand prize with the theme of Polar Express, which inspired everyone to try to take this year's grand prize with their unique theme. This year's themes included:

Brookville Main Branch - "Christmas Village"
Brookville Drive-thru - "Old-Fashion Christmas"
Connersville Branch - "Traditional Christmas"
Batesville Branch - "Traditional Christmas"
Sunman Branch - "Whoville"
Lawrenceburg Branch - "Gingerbread House"

After much hard work and decorating, the judges visited the seven locations to decide who would be this year's winner. The judges said it was a tough decision, but ultimately, the Harrison Branch took the Grand Prize with their "Santa's Workshop Theme." However, the most important thing to the entire team is bringing the joy of the holiday season to each bank and sharing it with their customers.

FCN Bank also has two other contest categories and the front-of-house theme category - individual and back-of-house entries. The complete list of winners is as follows:

Individual Entries:
Third – Mary Shepard (Homemade Christmas Quilts & Nutcrackers)
Second - Becky Stutz (Harry Potter Book 1)
First - Hilary Mitchell (Nightmare Before Christmas)
Back of House
Third - Loan Operations (Let it Snow)
Second - Credit Analyst (Whoville & the Grinch)
First - BSA/Banno (Land of Misfit Toys)
Front of House
Third - Brookville Main (Christmas Village)
Second - Brookville Drive-Thru Old Fashioned Christmas)
First - Connersville (Traditional Christmas)
GRAND PRIZE – Harrison Branch (Santa's Workshop)
