John Louis Cox, 87, of Union, Kentucky, died on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Gallatin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Warsaw, Kentucky.
John was born in Cincinnati on December 31, 1934, to Arlie Bernard and Alice Wright Cox. He served his country in the U.S. Army Infantry. John married Betty Jean Emerald and they enjoyed life together until her death on October 20, 2017, John was employed at Ford Visteon in Connersville and retired after more than 44 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Harrison. John enjoyed bike riding and riding his motorcycle.
John is survived by a daughter: Connie Kerth of Union; two grandchildren: Danielle and Jared Kerth; a brother: Richard Anthony Cox of Arizona; and a sister: Rose Marie Dula of Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; four brothers: James T. Cox, Arlie Bernard Cox Jr., William T. Cox, and Donny Charles Cox; three sisters: Mary Alice Wilhelm, Margaret Feller, and Alta Jean Meier.
