Meet Santa's reindeer

Whitetail Acres brought reindeer from its farm to the Whitetail Acres Garden Center, 8001 Blue Creek Rd. in Brookville, for the first "Reindeer Encounter" of the season, accompanied by the first snow.
The Reindeer Encounter offers guests the opportunity to interact with not only some of Santa's most famous helpers but Santa himself and experience the magic of Christmas.
Reindeer Encounters include: meet the reindeer in their pen, take your picture with the reindeer, fill out your letter to Santa, popcorn and hot chocolate, bonfire.
In addition, visitors will learn what reindeer eat, where they are from, and how they fly from experienced reindeer handlers while enjoying activities and games.
Encounters are held at the Whitetail Acres Garden Center, through December, where guests can find other holiday cheer. Precut Christmas trees, balled and burlap trees, wreaths, swags, roping, and crosses can all be purchased on-site at the Christmas Gift Shop, along with tasty treats from the kitchen of Mrs. Claus.
