Holiday Bazaar booth winner
November 22, 2022 at 8:11 p.m.
When the doors opened at 9 a.m. Last Saturday morning, shoppers eagerly flooded Union County Middle School to get the first glimpse of the many hand-crafted items offered at the annual Union County Extension Homemakers Holiday Bazaar.
It was a busy, busy seven hours for visitors and shoppers and the cafeteria serving homemade sandwiches and pie.
While shoppers were busy making their rounds of vendor displays, an Extension Homemakers committee was busy judging each booth for the Best Decorated Booth Award.
And the winner is...Kathy Johnson of Eaton, Ohio, with a large assortment of Christmas items in all sizes from decorated Christmas trees and wreaths, to miniature Christmas decor for gift giving this season. Johnson received free booth space for the 2023 Holiday Bazaar.
