Mrs. Robin Diane Witt, age 54, of Battletown, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at UofL Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Robin was born on October 19, 1967, the daughter of Bob Roscoe and Alphine “Dena” (Roberts) Capps. She was a member of Blue River Island Baptist Church, where she served as a youth leader, Sunday school teacher, and was very active with the worship team. She was a volunteer for the Macedonia Action Christian Center (MACC) for many years. Robin was an avid reader and supporter of the Indianapolis Colts.
Robin was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Violet Witt; and brother-in-law, Keith Witt. She is survived by her husband, Kelly Witt; her three fur babies that she constantly loved on, Little Bit, Makenzie and Molly “Moo”; six sisters, Darlene (David) Davidson, Deloris (Roy) Hayes, Lori Gibson, Mary (Keith) Coleman, Bobbie Sue (Joey) Hester and Cynthia (Rick) Light; a brother, William “Bill” (Deborah) Wilson; father-in-law, Jerry “Dad” Witt; brother-in-law, Kenny (Cris) Witt, sister-in-law, Jenny Kay Coy; two nieces, Lori (Christopher) Thompson and Megan Wilson; six nephews, Mike Ruess, Bradley (Claire) Witt, Kyle Witt, Nick (Rachel) Coy, Brandon “B” Coy and Keith (Abigail) Davidson; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Blue River Island Baptist Church with Rev. Bob Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Marve Bennett Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday. There will be a prayer service at 6:00 p.m. on Friday at the church, where everyone will be encouraged to speak and share memories. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contribution to the Macedonia Action Christian Center (MACC), located in Battletown.
