Union County Council on Aging and Aged will be hosting the “Angel Tree Project” this year.

If your family is struggling and needs a little Christmas assistance, you may sign your child up for the “Angel Tree.”

Parents or legal guardians may register their children in person at the offices located at Southview Courts Nov. 7 through Nov.14 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“Angels” must be Union County residents, or attending school in the Union County School district. Residency and/or enrollment will be verified (please bring driver's license and current piece of mail). We will also be requesting verification of “Angels” with birth certificates and social security cards.

Please bring the appropriate documentation.

There will be a limited number of “Angels” that will be served this year. If your family is enrolled in another Christmas assistance program, please do not sign up for both, this way we can serve those that may not be able to sign up anywhere else.

If you have any further questions about registering your child, please feel free to call the Union County Council on Aging and Aged office and ask for Trish or Jenny at 458-5500 for more information.
