Paul D. Wines, 80, of Pennville, died Thursday, September 22, 2022 at his residence. 

Paul was born to Francis and Juanita Rainey Wines on September 20, 1942. He enlisted in the United States Marines, proudly serving his country. Paul was a hard working man, who was employed with Coffman Construction as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed every minute spent in his backhoe, on and off the clock. When he was not working, Paul loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, whom he was very proud of. 

Paul is survived by his children and their spouses: Paul Wines Jr. and Gregory Quina, Jeffery Wines and Annie, Charlene Williams and Keith VanMeter; sister: Judy Puckett; sister-in-law: Dianne Wines; grandchildren: Misty Key and Randy, Michael Jones, Edward Dwyer and Becky Inserra, Zachary Miller; great-grandchildren: Brianna, Logan, Connor, Colton; many step-children, step-grandchildren, extended family and friends too numerous to mention. 

In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his siblings: Rick Wines, David Lee Wines, Donna Dolan. 

A visitation for family and friends will be conducted on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Showalter Blackwell Long, Fosdick Chapel, Liberty. Friends may visit the funeral home from 4:30p.m., until 8:00 p.m. Cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Foundation in Paul's honor.
