By Cheyenne Lance-

With the 2023 Quilt Show arriving in May, the ladies of the committee have been working hard to finalize arrangements and get slots filled out properly to ensure that all guests have a great time.

First, this years' challenge category, "Panel Play," will be judged by independent judges. This year will also honor three of the original Quilt Batt members: Marie Kerr, Betty Jo Hall, and Mary Taylor. A display of some of their quilts will be available as well.

Secondly, there will be dozens of beautiful quilts displayed throughout the gymnasium and viewers are encouraged to vote for their favorites based on these categories: bed size, hand completed, machine and hand completed, machine only, lap quilts, wall hangings, baby quilts, youth, under 16, Quilt of Valor, and miscellaneous quilted articles.

There will be a narrated presentation of Bed Turning, which will be held several times a day. This features older quilts and a brief explanation of their history and patterns.

Below, you will find the demonstration list for all presentations available:

Friday
11:00 - Bed Turning
