Union county receives $250K Grant for local businesses

Attention Union County business owners!  Union County has been awarded a grant for COVID-19 Phase 3 Supplemental Funding, with a focus on employee retention for local businesses post-COVID.  Melissa Browning of the Union County Development Corporation says that businesses need not have received any COVID funding before in order to qualify; in fact, they hope to reach even the newer businesses with this funding.  Browning, whose last day with UCDC will be June 1, has been looking forward to seeing this money get put to use, and encourages all local restaurants, shops, and businesses to consider applying this week.  A total of $250,000 has been awarded to Union County, creating individual grants of up to $10,000. An application is available online at www.ucdc.us, or scan the QR code below.
