Thursday the Wildcats competed at the South Dearborn Invitational. Twelve teams attended the event, including five EIAC teams. The Lady Cats took third place with 99 points. Batesville won on the girls side with 173. The Lady Cats brought home two first-place ribbons. Emma Rosenberger won the long jump with 14-5.5 and the 4x100 meter relay team won with a time of 50.85, a season best and third-fastest time in FC history with 2019's team still holding the top time at 50.43.

Lady Wildcat podium finishers were Madison Merritt 100m 3rd, 200m 3rd, Esther George 100MH 3rd, 300MH 3rd, Mackenzie Brzezinski 300MH 2nd, 4x400 relay 2nd, Ella Flannery high jump 2nd, and Rosenberger long jump 1st, Pole Vault 2nd.

The boys team finished in seventh place with 54.5 points. The Cats got a second-place finish from Cole Freese in the pole vault after clearing 11 feet. The boys 4x100 meter relay team earned second place with a time of 45.34, and the 4x400 took third. Lawrenceburg won the meet with 99 points.

Saturday FC traveled to compete in the Pike Invitational. The Lady Cats' 4x100 relay team was the loner podium finisher in the meet after taking second with a time of 51.33. The boys failed to place anyone on the podium, but Clayton Bolser set a season's best in the shot put with a throw of 40-11.

In a dual with Batesville April 11, FC's boys won 70-62 while the girls lost 96-32.
