Dennis Reid Gault

Dennis Reid Gault, age 72, of Brookville, died Monday, July 24, 2023 at the Brookville Healthcare Center in Brookville.
Born September 2, 1950 in Connersville, he was the only child of Robert J.R. and Marjorie J. (Sherwood) Gault. He was a graduate of Celina High School, Celina, Ohio with the Class of 1969. On July 8, 1978 he was united in marriage to Melody Nicholson, and she survives.
Dennis was retired, having worked for many years at the former D & M in Connersville and Goldstar Coatings, and then for over 14 years at the Brookville Healthcare Center where he drove the patient activities bus.
He was a faithful member of the Brookville United Methodist Church. In his leisure time he enjoyed working in the yard, and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Besides Melody, his loving wife of over 45 years, survivors include two sons, Cory (Kristin) Gault and Tyler (Caitlin) Gault; as well as six grandchildren.
Family and friends visited on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Brookville United Methodist Church, 150 East 8th Street, Brookville.
Rev. Steve Rundel, pastor of Brookville United Methodist Church, officiated the funeral services on Saturday, July 29, 2023, 12:00 Noon at the Brookville United Methodist Church.
