Eulas “Cron” Plemons

LIBERTY – Eulas “Cron” Leroy Plemons, age 90, of Richmond, died Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Forest Park Health Campus.

Born May 1, 1933, in McMann County, Tennessee, to Lush E. and Thelma Williams Plemons, Eulas lived in Liberty most of his life. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Eulas worked for the B & O Railroad, was an electrician, and retired from Dresser Roots after 22 years of service. He was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. His family remembers him as a hard worker, whether it was farming, working with horses, or tackling engine repairs. Eulas was a musician and could play anything that had strings. He loved to make people laugh.

Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Florence Plemons; daughters, Dell (Bill) Craft of Maineville, Ohio, Rhonda (David) Adams of West Harrison, and Rebecca (Joseph) Carter of Richmond; son, Carl Plemons of Liberty; four grandchildren, Nicole Pittman, Brent Adams, Hannah Adams, and Kylie Adams; sister, Geraldine (James) Moore of Oxford, Ohio; nieces; nephews; and many friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nellie Bonnett and Barbara Settles; brothers, Bill Plemons, Bob Plemons, Tom Plemons, Jimmy Plemons, Fred Plemons, and Austin Plemons.

Memorial visitation for Eulas Leroy Plemons will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home.
