Douglas Eugene Delaney, age 64, of Richmond, died Monday, August 7, 2023 at Reid Hospital in Richmond.
Born March 17, 1959 in Hamilton, Ohio, he was one of six children born to the late Stanley and Juanita (Still) Delaney.
Doug was retired, having been a steelworker for many years. In his leisure time he enjoyed working on automobiles.
Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Delaney of Brookville, Erica Delaney Boyer of Connersville and Breanna Nora York of Fountain City; four grandchildren, Carley Shay Boyer, Herbert Trenton Boyer, Nathaniel Boyer and Robert Skylar Boyer; two sisters, Tonya Christenberry of Liberty and Melinda Stewart of Milan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis Delaney, Mike Delaney and Stanley Delaney.
There will be no public services.
