Delores Marlene Crank, 87, of Connersville, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Reid Health, Richmond.

She was born in Connersville on April 21, 1936 to Alfred and Opal Fish Grant. 

In 1952, she married Carl J. Crank of Olive Hill, Kentucky. From there, they made Connersville their home to raise their family.  

They belonged to the Whitewater Citizens' Band Radio Club where she was known as “Rosie Cheeks,” where the name of their business “Rosie's Upholstering” originated.  

They were blessed with three children, Carlene (Warren) McCreary of Rushville, Patty (Jimmy) Young of Gravel Switch, Kentucky and Jeannette (Jim) Bowman of London, Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Marlene (Dean) Thompson of Marion; and seven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl J. Crank, who passed away May 5, 1995; three half-brothers, William (“Bill/Pops”) McClay who shared her home for 20 years after Carl's death, Danny Toler, and David and Marsha Ashcraft Toler.  

Friends visited Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor David A. Drake officiating. Burial was in Dale Cemetery.
