Jeremy A. Branstetter, age 44, of Metamora, died Saturday, August 26, 2023 at his residence in Metamora following a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born September 30, 1978 in Oxford, Ohio he was the son of Charles and Vickie (Sparks) Branstetter. On September 2, 2018 he was united in marriage to Shevelle Wilkinson, and she survives.
Jeremy worked for much of his life in construction. In his leisure time he enjoyed racing, and was a member of the Franklin County 4 Wheelers.
Besides Shevelle, his wife of five years, survivors include two children, Mason Branstetter of Laurel, and Braelynne Branstetter of Metamora; his parents, Charles and Vickie Branstetter of Metamora; a brother, Eric Branstetter of Metamora, Indiana, his maternal grandmother, Betty Sparks of Brookville, and paternal grandmother Mary Lou Branstetter of Connersville.
He was preceded in death by an uncle, Rick Sparks, his maternal grandfather, Sherman Sparks, and his paternal grandfather, Daniel Branstetter.
Family and friends may visit from 4 until 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville.
Pastor Justin Bradley of Red Life Church will officiate the memorial service at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home.
