Lloyd K. Davidson

Lloyd K. Davidson, of Connersville, was born on January 10, 1949, in Cincinnati, a son to Lloyd Dean and Fern Sharp Davidson.  He graduated from Riley High School and then entered the United States Army, serving his country during the Vietnam War.  Lloyd married Brenda Neeley on October 5, 1968, and together they raised two sons.  He worked as an electrician and was a member of the Hamilton Masonic Lodge.  Lloyd enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting and mushroom hunting but most of all he loved spending time with his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at the age of 74 he passed away at Reid Health in Richmond.

Those surviving who will cherish Lloyd's memory include his wife of nearly 55 years, Brenda Davidson; sons, Jeff (Sonja) Davidson of Brookville, and Dan (Kirsten) Davidson of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Taylor Branstetter, Logan Davidson, Haley Davidson, Jacob Davidson and Andy Lewis, and one great-grandchild, Huxley Branstetter.  Also surviving is one sister, Vera (Kenneth) Romer of Hamilton; stepmother, Georgia Davidson of Millen, Georgia, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 11a.m. until 1p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville with the funeral service beginning at 1p.m.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery with military honors.
