Robert “Bob” Blair

Robert “Bob” M. Blair, 73, of Connersville died Thursday, July 13 at Reid Health of Richmond.

Bob was born in Kentucky to Paul and Georgia Blair on September 16, 1949. He attended Brookville High School graduating with the class of 1967. Following graduation Bob was drafted into the US Army. He served his country as a Medic V prior to his honorable discharge. After returning stateside, Bob was employed with Owens Corning as an AQCO computer programmer. He was a member of New Freedom Church. Bob was a prolific reader of Sci-Fi and Fantasy novels. He enjoyed traveling with his wife Faye, whom he married in October of 2017. Bob adored spending time with his loved ones including his extended family in Blair Branch, Kentucky. He will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.

In addition to his wife Faye and mother Georgia, Bob is survived by his sons: Briar Blair and Ailur Blair; step-daughters and their husbands: Ginger Carr and Matt, Deanna Ruble and John; sister: Cheryl Cavins and Larry; step-grandchildren: Elijah Rubble, Blake Adams, Wyatt Erlewein; several nieces, nephews, and friends. 

Bob is preceded in death by his first wife: Lorena Mills Blair; father: Paul Blair; brothers: Terry Blair and Tim Blair.
