Kid's art camp livens up Main Street

This past Wednesday, May 31st, The Painted Turtle Art Club hosted their first pop-up art camp. It was held at Third Place from 10am-12pm for kids, ages 5-10.

The project for this art camp was a DIY Your Own Hat or Tote Bag!

About 30 kids signed up and each had a blast creating their own hat or tote! They also had free time to create anything they wanted. This ranged from trading cards to chalk art, Lego creations to anything these kids could imagine! In the end, the kids had the chance to parade Main Street to show off their hats and totes!

The pop-up art camp is a fun opportunity for young kids to show their creativity and personality, and with how successful this camp had been, I'm sure we can expect more!
