Lady Wildcats reflect on 2023

The Franklin County High School girls tennis annual banquet was held the week of May 30-June 2 at the Brookville Lake Overlook park.
No. 1 singles player Nicole Mears was selected as the team's most valuable player as she tied with the most team wins with Shannon Stenger of the No. 2 doubles team. Stenger also earned most improved. Moorea Nobbe took home the Wildcat Award and No. 2 singles player Lola Mann was lauded for her Athlete of the Week (April 24) nod by an area radio station.
Additional varsity letter winners this season were Sayla Sacksteder, Serena Silas, Vivian Silas and Kristen Ison. Earning Academic All-Conference were Ison, Mears, Nobbe and Stenger.
The Lady Wildcats were coached by Katrina Huerkamp and assisted by Tana Stang and John Ingermann.
